Summary: In collaboration with various Taskforces, plans and produces informative, engaging and productive events from conception to completion. Events include an annual conference & tradeshow, professional education events, and a legislative event. Duties include creating marketing materials that drive attendance and participation, and the solicitation and acquisition of sponsorships and advertising for all events. This position also includes managing and editing the Florida School Nutrition Association website, managing the weekly newsletter and managing social media posts. Responsibilities: Researches event locations, creates and tracks RFPs, conducts site visits, researches local area activities & restaurants, assists with contract negotiation.
