Responsibilities: | Oversees daily food service operations and performs food preparation activities in environments such as dining, retail, and/or catering venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve food service goals. - 30% Assigns and coordinates the day-to-day activities of food service staff
- 5% Develops and schedules logistics and menus for daily and catering operations
- 30% Leads and provides exceptional customer service, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation, catering, and associated activities
- 15% Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
- 15% Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
- 5% Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
