As a Banquet Event Lead you will:
Supervise catering event operations by overseeing the event set-up, servicing, preparing, and clean-up of University Dining Catering Events.
Provide excellent customer service to the event guests.
Transport food items for catered events and special meals.
Hire, schedule, train, and lead a team of support staff, including student employees.
Assist with menu planning.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus three years catering, hospitality, or restaurant experience; equivalent experience considered. Excellent customer service skills essential. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate staff members. Basic computer skills required. Food handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory, event planning, food preparation, and display experience. ServSafe certification.
