Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a non-exempt (hourly) Catering Supervisor in the Dining Service. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with weekend rotations. Evenings and weekends are requirements of this position.
Position Range: $17.50-$20.00 (dependent upon experience)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise day to day operations of a high volume catering operation
Produce creative buffet table displays
Set, serve and clear events including coffee breaks to VIP dinners for a few guests to several hundred
Work with and mentor college student employees
Prerequisites
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a high-volume catering, dining service or restaurant or other related experience, preferred.
