Reporting to the Associate Director, Alumni Events & Operations, the Assistant Director, Event Operations will provide a high level of operational support to the Advancement Events team. The role will oversee operating procedures, manage event builds, registration processes, event reporting and onsite event support as needed. The incumbent will serve as a resource to Institutional Advancement colleagues to support, coordinate and enhance their operational procedures and engagement efforts. This role will oversee the Administrative Specialist. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of directly related experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Proficient in MS Office suite and fundraising databases
* Ability to establish and maintain operational systems and procedures, and ensure adherence to same
* Ability to perform special projects with minimal supervision
* Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
* Excellent organization skills and the ability to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously
* Results-oriented, facts-driven, with high energy and drive, a positive attitude, and excellent listening skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of constituencies

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
