![]() Enterprise Systems Engineer Join our community and experience Emerson College! The Enterprise Systems Engineer is primarily responsible for the system level administration of Emerson College's 170+ virtual Linux environment as well as the VMware virtualization infrastructure itself. The administrator will lead and be a key administrator in projects requiring the provision, deployment, security, upgrading, and retirement of Red Hat/ERP application servers. This position will also serve as the primary resource in IT for web server administration (including Apache/Tomcat, Lighttpd, A10 Load Balancing, Single Sign On, and Nginx). The Enterprise Systems Engineer will be a key strategist and administrator as we migrate workloads to the Cloud and develop an IaaS environment. This individual will act as the secondary Systems Administrator for the remainder of Emerson's server environment, including 150+ Windows servers, enterprise applications including email, the event management system, cloud file storage, the source code repository.
