Join the team leading the Pacific Northwest in large and small event management. WSU Conference Management seeks to fill 2 conference manager positions, one of whom will have extensive conference/event/meeting planning experience. Both positions will work from the Puyallup office located within 30 miles of Seattle, WA.
Holding offices in Puyallup, WA and Pullman, WA, WSU Conference Management leads the region in event management, partnering with federal and state agencies, non-profits, and university colleagues to deliver exceptional event experiences for clients and attendees.
The Conference Manager is responsible for developing, organizing and executing a wide array of conferences and professional education programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing and/or managing diverse activities such as event planning, public relations, financial management, contract negotiation, marketing, sales, and personnel management. Additionally, the incumbent collaborates on the designing and implementation of new professional education programs.
